Who we are
RD Building Services was founded by two longtime friends, Jake Read and Tom Doyle. When we first started our business, we never imagined where this journey would take us. What began simply as two friends working together on weekends, has quickly grown into something unexpected- a fulltime, co-owned and operated business. Using our previous management experience, we have turned our dream of working for ourselves, into a reality.

About Founders
Jake Read
CO-FOUNDER
Jake drives company culture, focusing on creating a positive work experience for everyone. Known for his ability to build effective teams and positive work culture, he brings passion, hard work and an optimistic attitude to work everyday. Leading by example, he aims to inspire others.
Tom Doyle
CO-FOUNDER
Tom brings his management experience to the company, focusing on improving the customer experience. Known for his focus on communication, efficiency and drive, Tom aims to always be improving the way we operate. Ensuring customer satisfaction from beginning to end, Tom aims to build trust and relationships within the community.
Allen Bergeron
I had them tear out and replace a shared fence with 2 neighbours. It was not a huge job, and many other contractors were not interested or would say they “might” be able to get to it in a year or so! These guys were timely, worked hard, were straightforward, flexible and pricing was more than fair.

Tom and Jake of RD Building Services are highly professional and offer fair value and good quality work. I’ve hired them for small jobs such as tiling, drywall repair and replacement, and brush collection. The bigger jobs were for roofing of our house and the garage and demolishing and building a new fence. All these jobs were done with great care, attention to detail and creative thinking when needed.
